 Product: DINITROL WIREGREASECharacteristics: DINITROL WIRE GREASE is a corrosion preventive with excellent corrosion preventing properties and high lubricating capability. It adheres well to iron and steel surfaces. The protective film, which is yel lowish brown and greasy, is flexible in consistency. The protective film of DINITROL WIRE GREASE is easily removed with lacquer naphtha or with chlorinated hydrocarbons, such as trichloro-ethylene. The film may also be removed with almost any alkaline degreaser. Range of use: DINITROL WIRE GREASE is primarily intended for corrosion protection in cases where a protective film is required, not only to provide protection, but also to act as a lubricant. DINITROL WIRE GREASE is suitable for protection of machinery components which require ample lubrication and good corrosion protection under various weatherconditions e.g. on vessels. DINITROL WIRE GREASE is particularly well suited for lubricating wires and also for corrosion protection of iron and steel items in storage or in transit under conditions conducive to corrosion. When treating a corroded wire a pretreatment with DINITROL 41 should be made to increase the penetration of Wire Grease into the wire core. Application: DINITROL WIRE GREASE is applied most easily with a brush. On wires and similar objects, the grease may also be applied with a special lubricator. No EEC symbol is required. Store in closed packaging in a dry and ventilated area. |
